On December 23, Wang Yang, Member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, met with Anne Lauvergeonthe, president of Group Areva, and her party. On behalf of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Guangdong Government, Secretary Wang Yang welcomed Lauvergeonthe and her party’s visit to Guangdong and confirmed Taishan Nuclear Power co-constructed by Group Areva and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Cooperation Meanwhile, Secretary Wang Yang appreciated Group Areva’s active participation in the construction of College of China-France Nuclear Engineering and Technology by SYSU and the French side.

Huang Yunlong, Provincial party committee member and Executive vice Governor, Qian Zhimin, President of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Cooperation, Bo Lang, Director of Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office, Li Miaojuan, Director of Guangdong Development and Reform Committee, Zhang Tainian, French Consul General stationed in Guangzhou, attended the meeting.
