On Nov 2, Professor Francisco J. Ayala, Academician of American Academy of Science, International Renowned Biologist and Educator visited SYSU. Chen Chunsheng, Vice-president of SYSU, received Professor Ayala and the delegation. Related officials from International Exchange and Cooperation Office and School of Life Sciences were present at the meeting.

In the afternoon, Professor Ayala delivered an academic report whose topic was “Human Evolution: from Biology to Culture” in Hedanqing Hall. The report attracted more than 300 teachers and students and all seats were occupied. Professor Ayala offered a rich academic feast to teachers and students in SYSU.
