On the morning of October 1, a flag-raising ceremony took place in the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Founding of New China. By 8:30, at a burst of the loud, resonant slogan, the spirited 19-member escort team of the national flag strode to the flat-raising post in neat pace in discipline.

Upon the playing of the solemn national anthem, and as the flag raiser gestured a beautiful swing, the red five-star flag rose slowly in the post. During the ceremony, all the participants saluted to the flag, extending their wishes of thriving and prosperity to their motherland.
