Chinese Scholars Jointly Found a New Inflammatory Factor Receptor That Can Promote Metastasis of Breast Cancer

In recent years, under the support of State Natural Science Funds Key Projects, Foundation for Distinguished Youth Projects and Project 973 and so on, a research team led by Professor Song Erwei has done a further research on the effects of uncontrollable inflammation of breast cancer and found a significant uncontrollable inflammation factor in breast cancer tissue, that is Tumor-Associated Macrophages, (TAM). Through secreting inflammatory factor CCL18, TAM can promote the infiltration and metastasis of breast cancer.
