Journal of Neuroscience: Research Group Led by Li Mingtao from Zhongshan School of Medicine, SYSU Has Explained the Transcription Regulation Mechanism of Bim

According to Journal of Neuroscience, an important international journal, the Research Group Led by Professor Li Mingtao from Zhongshan School of Medicine, has made a breakthrough in the study of Neurons apoptosis mechanism.

The result not only provides adequate evidence for Egr-1/Bim being a target of neurodegenerative diseases treatment, but also has significance in exploring G-C rich DNA inhibitor’s effect on neurodegenerative diseases. The research was published in the mainstream journal Journal of Neuroscience in March, 2011 and was recommended as a key reading article by the journal.
