On June 16, the unveiling ceremony of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Fulan Academic Center was launched on South Campus.

Participants were SYSU CPC Secretary Zheng Detao, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Fulan Award Selection Committee member Fok Tai-fai, Vice President of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and committee member Yuk-Shan Wong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of SYSU Chen Xiaoming, Professor of School of Chinese of the University of Hong Kong Ming De, Member of the Center of Asia Studies of HKU Sin Chow Yiu, donor of SYSU Fulan Award and Fulan Academic Center Chen Yunhe and Liu Xiuwan  couple, Vice-Chairman of the Board and President of Sino United Publishing Limited and Committee Member Chan Man-hung, CPC Secretary of Guangdong University of Technology Su Yifan, Deputy Director of Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of Guangdong’s People’s Congress Fang Chaogui, SYSU CPC Vice-Secretary Li Ping, SYSU President Assistant and Chief Librarian Cheng Huanwen. In addition, related department and functional division officers, members of Fulan Award Selection Committee, famous alumni, guests and about eighty teacher and student representatives also participated in this ceremony.
