Yesterday, Sun Yat-sen University held the fifth “Global Top 500 Companies & Chinese Leading Enterprises– Interviews for Elite Students”. 1800 students went to the fair and 21 global top 500 companies such as Pepsi, China Southern Airlines as well as Chinese leading enterprises took part in the fair, offering more than 900 job opportunities. As the fair is admissive by tickets, students would obtain the tickets after they have registered online and be screened for interviews.

The eye catcher of this recruitment fair is the relaxing interviewing setting - the sun, the lawn, the old trees and the red walls. The site is no longer poll crowded. Even the queues for the most sought after enterprises such as China Southern Airlines and SINOPEC are only about 10 meters long.

The personnel explained that fewer people implies more communication opportunities between the enterprises and the students, thus allowing the enterprises to learn more about the students. The organizer also anticipates providing a more relaxing and comfortable setting with foldable chair and coffee for every applicant in the next recruitment fair.
